Since 2002 Global Journeys has been sharing the excitement of travel and helping our clients to see the world!

We'll connect you with the one that's right for your travel style and budget and get you their best deal!
We provide these services combined with friendly and useful assistance. (Believe it or not, and I bet you do, there are plenty of ways to book vacations without getting any helpful assistance, let alone friendly helpful assistance!!)
In 2011, we entered a new realm. We acquired a Cruise Planners franchise so we could double our offerings of best value cruise and land packages as well as some other cool services. In addition to lots of blocked space on cruise ships, we now offer American Express package benefits for card holders and non-card holders alike. This includes even more blocked space with amenities (even if you don't carry an Amex card) as well as special benefits for Amex card holders. We can even book your vacation using your American Express points!
Group travel benefits have been expanded, including personalized group websites for individual registration and group information. It's an excellent way to keep everybody informed, recruit new travelers and get registered, all in one place!
Now you can even establish a Travel Registry on our web site for wedding, birthday or anniversary gifts. Put a limit on the toasters and monogrammed bath towels and get the kind of gift you can really use!! Options could include specific shore excursions, spa treatments, cruise gratuities, shipboard credit, upgrade to a balcony cabin, etc. Your guests will be so happy to be able to contribute to your honeymoon rather than decide upon which roaster pan would go best in your kitchen!

We Specialize
We specialize in group cruising for families, friends, organizations, weddings, business meetings and business incentives. Cruising is the perfect way to travel with a small or large crowd! Let us handle your group cruise. You will not only simplify (no meals or activities to plan) and save on presentation equipment, but many of the logistical details will simply not exist. We will handle the details that do need handling and your group will enjoy the event of a lifetime! You may be surprised to find that many businesses conduct meetings on cruise ships to save money, and do so substantially! A simple cruise fare takes the place of separately booking and pricing hotels, meeting rooms, media presentation equipment, meals, outside activities, etc. It does wonders for employee moral and makes a serious impact on retention!
Memberships and Accreditations
Aside from the most important qualifications of loving travel and having a high degree of Cruisitude, here is a list of all the qualifications that legitimize us and give us the background for anything we might have missed in our own travels!
Global Journeys/Cruise Planners is a member of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and has an 'A' rating with the Better Business Bureau. In addition, we are members of the National Association of Cruise Oriented Agencies (NACOA) as well as the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
Global Journeys course certifications include CLIA's Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC) and Master Cruise Counselor (MCC) certificates as well as individual cruise line certifications from Celebrity, Cunard, Disney, Holland America, Norwegain, Princess and Royal Caribbean. We have cruised all the major lines and traveled all over the world by land, cruise ship and river cruise vessel.
Why Use Global Journeys? Are Fees Charged for These Services?
The cruise and tour companies pay us commission on your booking so it doesn't cost you anymore to have us book your cruise or tour than if you booked on your own! In fact, you will usually pay more on your own because you won't be able to take advantage of our special pricing and/or extra amenities offered on most cruises.
In addition, we supply you with guides for every port of call and will offer advice on the practicalities of your vacation (Is it worth buying travel insurance? What type of ship is best suited for our lifestyle? How do we get to the ship? Does it matter where our cabin is located? Should we book shore excursions? What can we do in port on our own? How do we get around? etc., etc. etc.) We'll also be there when you need help resolving a problem with the cruise or tour operator. Online booking engines can't do all those things. So why do people use them? Because they think they offer a better deal than an agent and don't know at the time that they will need answers and help with all those questions! These online booking engines are "agents" too, so they have the same kind of pricing that we do. The big difference is that they can't tell you all the answers to the above questions and more! I met a couple on their first cruise, booked online. They didn't know about formal night so didn't come prepared and were sad to be missing out. Had they booked with Global Journeys, they would have been equipped with more info than some experienced cruisers!
The only fees we will ever charge is for booking flights outside of a vacation package. Our air booking fee is $25 per ticket for a round-trip itinerary or $50 for a multi-city itinerary. We'll find the best rate from published air fares, cruise line air fares or consolidators. Single hotel bookings may also incur a small booking charge if it is outside of our network. Many of our clients book their own flights easily after we steer them to the right websites for finding the best deals. We have no "steering" fees! :-)
